Kuala Terengganu

Kuala Terengganu is the largest city in the state of Terengganu. As it is famous for the home of the annual Monsoon Cup sailing event, it has been well known as the centre for the best batik fabrics and clothings in Malaysia.  Delightful patterns of batik creations are available at the waterfront shopping arcades and other shops close by waterfront. For many years the most talked-about shopping place, the Pasar Payang  has thus far the most reachable place to shop for batik fabrics in the city, The addition of a new complex featuring traditional craftsmanship has  further enhanced the water front as a centre of tourist attraction, thus bringing tourists nearer to the batik industry in this east coast state,  A very recent activity, albeit not well publicised, has conspicuously become observable within the river by the water front.  Nonetheless, such activity may as well be understood as further efforts made by the authorities to beautify the city, and consequently boasts tourism in the state.
