Cassia fistula (Family : Fabaceae) is a good plant to have in recreational areas. When flowering it can give a good atmosphere to the surrounding. Like some other Fabaceae plants, the flowers are borne on a long raceme that stoops downwards for one to two feet. Check previous posting for more information.
The plant can be easily grown from seeds, which are produced in abundance. After sowing for 7-10 days seedlings can be obtained.
